1. Allowed temporary import for non-resident citizens on the territory of Ukraine vehicles for personal use (except for yachts and other water vehicles for recreational and sports, which are classified in heading 8903 according Ukrainian Classification of Products for foreign trade) for up to one year. Temporary import for non-residents on the territory of Ukraine yachts and other water vehicles for recreational and sports, which are classified in heading 8903 according Ukrainian Classification of Products for foreign trade intended for personal use is allowed for up to three years. Mandatory prerequisite for admission marked vehicles to temporary import into the customs territory of Ukraine is the registration of these vehicles in the authorized authorities of foreign states.

2. Vehicles for personal use, that are temporarily imported into the customs territory of Ukraine by non-residents, as well as fuel, which is contained in the tanks of such vehicles as specified by the manufacturer are not subject to declarate and shall be exempt from the submission of documents that appear to be public authorities for customs control and the customs clearance of goods that move citizens through the customs border of Ukraine.

3. Resident citizens who are on temporary consular register in the consular post of Ukraine abroad, can import into the territory of Ukraine under a written undertaking re-export one vehicle for personal use of heading 8703 (except subheadings of heading 8703 10) according Ukrainian Classification of Products for foreign trade and trailer to it for commercial subheadings 8716 10 according to Ukrainian Classification of Products for foreign trade (if imported with the vehicle) for a period not exceeding 60 days in a calendar year (which can be either continuous or intermittent), without payment of customs duties which, in accordance with the law, shall be payable on import of such products. This vehicles may be temporarily imported into the customs territory of Ukraine, provided that a customs authority of documents that prove ownership of a citizen in such vehicles but their registration in the relevant country.

4. Temporarily imported vehicles for personal use may be used in the customs territory of Ukraine only those citizens who have imported them to Ukraine, for their personal needs, can not be used for business purposes in Ukraine, go for parts, as well as alienated or transferred to the possession use or instruction to others.

5. Temporarily imported vehicles for personal use must be exported outside the customs territory of Ukraine within the terms established in accordance with the requirements of the Code, or placed in the customs regime for refusal in the public interest, loss or destruction of whether there can be processed for free circulation in the customs territory of Ukraine subject to the payment of customs duties, which, in accordance with the law, shall be payable on import of such vehicles.

6. In case of loss or complete broke temporarily imported vehicles for personal use by accident or force majeure course of temporary importation stops provided the Customs authorities, the owners of such vehicles is sufficient evidence of loss or broke. Allowed placement of such vehicles in the customs regime for refusal in the public interest, or destruction or damage.
